Enjoying Everything Environmental Fest in Huber Heights

On Sunday, the Electric Vehicle Association of Ohio participated in the  “Everything Environmental Fest” in Huber Heights. We provided 53 ride and drives to eager visitors, many who have never been in an EV, as a driver or passenger.

We would like to thank our Dayton team members who brought a Hyundai Ioniq 5, Rivian R1T, Cadillac Optiq and Lyriq, Volkswagen ID4, and a Tesla Y. We extend a special thanks to Jeff Schmitt Cadillac for providing the 2026 Cadillac Lyriq.

Participants were also able to buy flowers and learn from local gardeners. The Montgomery County Health department provided information on how to avoid the dreaded tick. There were food trucks offering yoga bowls, various delicacies and healthy smoothies.

Sunday’s event concluded a busy week beginning with Monday’s Ride and Drive at the Warren County Fair; Wednesday we held a Meet-and-Greet in Oakwood Village; Saturday found us participating with the Cleveland team in a Touch-a-Truck event in Hudson, Ohio.

This week embodies our principle: EVs For All. Holding events in urban and rural communities provides us the ability to practice the inclusion and equity. What happens in one corner of Ohio effects us all when it comes to job creation, building sustainable EV infrastructure and fighting for an environment that is healthy for us all.
