Sponsor Profile
Village Solar Co.
At Village Solar Co., we believe the transition to electric vehicles is only complete when the power in your EV battery comes from renewable sources. That is why we are proud sponsors of the Electric Vehicle Association of Ohio. Together, we are building a cleaner, more resilient Buckeye State by closing the loop between sustainable transportation and renewable energy generation.
We don’t just talk the talk, we walk the walk, and have been a pioneering company in the use of Rivian EVs as our work trucks. We are the only solar installation company we are aware of the powers its operation — including our transportation — entirely with the sun. Our goal is to lead by example and show other companies that not only is going electric possible, but a great business decision!
What We Offer
We design and install high-quality residential, and commercial solar arrays, car chargers and battery backup systems across Ohio. Utilizing advanced LIDAR-based software, we deliver highly accurate production models to ensure your system is perfectly optimized to meet your personal goals whether that’s maximizing your ROI, doing the most with a limited budget, keeping the lights on when the grid goes down, or going net-zero and offsetting the entirety of your home and EV charging needs.
We take a educational, no-pressure approach with our customers with the goal of providing them with information needed to make an informed decision. We know that a good product sells itself and what our customers need help with is fully understanding the value proposition of going solar and an honest company to present them with accurate numbers.
Our Core Values
Founded in Yellow Springs in 2020, our company was built on an honest, transparent pledge: value people and planet over profit. We are an initial signatory to Solar United Neighbors and Green Energy Ohio’s Solar Ethics Pledge, which commits us to honesty, integrity, and accurate promises to our customers.
We strive to make solar accessible and affordable by utilizing the best quality materials at an affordable rate, ensuring your investment pays off quickly and this needed resource gets deployed to as many homes and businesses as soon possible to help curb climate change.
Supporting Our Community
We don’t just work here; we show up when it counts. Whether it is repairing third-party solar arrays or deploying our electric trucks and portable battery units to neighbors in need during winter power outages, we are committed to local mutual aid and community safety. Our marketing dollars go toward sponsoring organizations that share these values, events that promote sustainability, and non-profit organizations that maximize their positive impact with our fellow Miami Valley community members.
