It was a great day in Hudson on Saturday, Sept. 5 for EVA of Ohio volunteers who participated in the last Community Days event of the 2026 Hudson Farmers Market series.
The Hudson Farmers Market provides a hometown atmosphere and opportunities for people to shop for produce and products that are grown or made locally. There was a great turn out of community organizations at the event and some 700 to 1000 community members learned more about EVs and all of the benefits of driving electrically.
We answered lots of questions, explaining how EV prices for used vehicles have come down, how the charging network has expanded, and what type of adapter you need to charge your vehicle on a Level 2 charging equipment at home or work and at DC fast chargers when traveling.
With the price of gas remaining high, it’s a great time to consider switching from a gas or diesel vehicle to an EV. EVA of Ohio volunteers are here to answer your questions based on their EV driving experiences to help make the switch as easy as possible for you.
