Several times a year, members of EVA of Ohio host “Ride and Drive” events across the state of Ohio.
But what exactly is a “Ride and Drive” event?
Members of EVA of Ohio are excited to share their knowledge and experience with EVs and EV ownership with their communities. One of the best ways to see what all the excitement is about is to get behind the wheel of an EV yourself! EVs are very fun to drive: quiet, smooth, and very quick. But don’t worry, driving an EV uses the same skills that you have already learned driving gas vehicles.
Licensed drivers are free to drive the EVs at our “Ride and Drive” events. Drivers must have a valid and current drivers license, proof of insurance, and be 18 years of age or older.
Don’t feel like driving an EV yourself? EVA of Ohio members are happy to give you a ride instead. There are no age or licensing requirements for riders, though minors must be accompanied by an adult.
At a ride and drive you will find all kinds of EVs. Members (and local EV dealerships) bring vehicles of all shapes and sizes, and all price points, for you to experience.
