The Electric Vehicle Association of Ohio had the pleasure this afternoon to present two electric vehicles to the students attending the LIT-E STEM summer camp held at Valerie School.
The LIT-E, Literacy Through Engineering & Science) STEM camp is an academic enrichment program for students in third through sixth grads from across the Dayton Public School District.
We interacted with over 100 children. We would like to thank Sharon Goins, Director of Equity at Dayton Public Schools, and EVA member Mike Thompson for bringing his Cadillac Optiq.
We would also like to thank the Dayton Dragons for providing us with baseball hats and t-shirts that we presented to students who correctly answered questions about how EVs run on sunshine; whether all-electric vehicles burn gasoline; and how EVs help to lower the incidence of asthma.
