Join EVA of Ohio and American Solar Energy Society at the Northeast Ohio Electric Vehicle Rally on Saturday, Oct. 3
October 3 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Free
The American Solar Energy Society is holding its annual Northeast Ohio Electric Vehicle Rally on Saturday, Oct. 3 as part of National Solar Month. Because this also coincides with National Drive Electric Month, and solar and electric vehicles are complementary technologies, EVA of Ohio members will join in the fun.
We will have a tent and table to distribute information about EVs and our volunteer members will answer questions about EV ownership.
A solar-powered tour bus will arrive around 10:50 a.m. In addition to the participants’ EVs, Laketran will have one of their 10 electric public transit buses that have served the area for the past three years. Officials from Laketran will provide a presentation about their battery electric buses.
You will learn about the advantages of driving an EV, and using solar power. There are two EV charging stations available on site.
